Texas Community Bank clearly understands consumer concerns regarding
information collected in today's technological environment. We recognize the
importance of confidentiality and trust when handling our customers' private
and financial information. We also recognize the right to privacy and of the
privacy of our customers' personal information. We count each of these
issues among our most important responsibilities. This policy statement is
designed to assure our customers of our commitment to strict standards of
security and confidentiality. Additionally, this policy statement will
explain what type of information we collect, how it is used, and with whom
and under what circumstances it is shared.
1) We collect nonpublic personal information about customers from the
following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms,
- Information about your transactions with us, or others; and
- Information we receive from third party, such as a consumer reporting agency.
"Nonpublic personal information" is nonpublic information about you that
we may obtain in connection with providing a financial product and service
to you. This could include information such as account balances, payment
history, and overdraft history.
We do not disclose any nonpublic
personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted by the law.
If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer,
we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this
notice.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about
you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products
or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural
safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic
personal information.
